List of some good postgraduate courses

List of some good postgraduate courses

This list is designed for the students who want to study as well as work. The course which you join depends on your pocket or money you want to spend.I am recommending here some postgraduate courses which may be useful for the International students who cannot afford the costly universities. The bitter truth is that expect for medicine/healthcare and teaching it is difficult to get the job as a overseas national. So there is no point in spending money if you think that by studying in some good university you will get the work permit. However in the case of London business school ,cranfield university ,London School of Economics the things are different as fees is minimum 25000 GBP.But still does not guarantee you a work permit .The list of some medium colleges for post-graduate courses is as follows:

1) Queen Mary (University of London)- http://www.qmw.ac.uk/ - 12 months course in finance

2) University of Central England- http://www.uce.ac.uk - 18 months courses in finance

3) Bradford college- http://business.bilk.ac.uk/business/aboutbusiness.htm- 12-18 months courses in MA international business and marketing.

4) West London College- http://www.w-l-c.co.uk - 18 months MBA course

If I am not short of money then I will choose preferably the Queen Mary because of the brand. But the latter 3 courses are better as they are of 18 months duration during which one can cover up the costs of living and fees.

Which course to join

The most of international students find it difficult to choose the course. In my view you must pick the course according to your goal. If your goal is to join the market in your home country then join the course which has better prospects in your country. The most of postgraduate courses last for 12 months which may be useful for the people who are elderly or left their job to pursue the course. In the UK life is very costly so I advice international students to join the postgraduate courses of 18 months duration. During these 18 months you will be able to at least cover all the expenses.

Which University is best

The international students are confused by the ratings by times, gurardian and qaa.ac.uk.When you are planning to chose particular university or course it is better to check the couple of rating systems rather then believing blindly on one.Now lets see the example like the university of Greenwich. The rating of chemical and life sciences school is 23/24 .But in the MSc pharm sciences there is about 110 students studying .Now check the rating at times and guardian totally different results. So do not waste your money in such universities.
